Military service can make life unpredictable, but education doesn’t have to be. Stride’s educational offerings are designed to meet the needs of military personnel, veterans, and their families. Whether you’re a parent on active duty, a military spouse, or a veteran pursuing a new career, Stride breaks barriers by giving those who serve—and their loved ones—the opportunity to succeed without sacrificing quality.
Our combined programs have assisted thousands* of military service members, spouses, and families with education, licensure, certification, and more, including scholarships and financial assistance. We are also proud to support our employees in an active and engaged Veterans in Action employee resource group.
Tuition-free online public schools are available in many states.* They provide a safe learning environment where students benefit from:
Whether students reside in the CONUS or OCONUS, they can attend one of our accredited private schools. These tuition-based online schools offer multiple start dates throughout the year, a military discount* on tuition, and a summer school program.
Whether your path leads them directly into the workplace, the military, or higher education, Stride Career Prep equips students with the skills they need to get there.
Transitioning to civilian life and into the workforce can be challenging. Our portfolio of adult education offerings—Galvanize, Tech Elevator, and MedCerts—provide workforce training in software engineering, data science, and IT-related careers for enlisted members of the U.S. armed forces, their spouses, and military veterans. We also offer financial assistance and scholarships in partnership with the Army Credentialing Opportunities Online (COOL) and My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) programs.
*Since 2017, MedCerts Army COOL and MyCAA programs have served 11,825. Through its combined programs, Galvanize has supported more than 1,000 Military-connected families. Tech Elevator has impacted 120 total families and provided $608,330.58 in tuition coverage.
*You must reside in a state that has a Stride K12-powered online public school and meet that state’s requirements for enrollment. Families do not pay tuition for a student to attend an online public school. Common household items and office supplies like printer ink and paper are not provided. Our enrollment consultants can help address your technological and computer questions and needs.
