Maya Wallace, a 4-H and FFA alum and agriculture educator at Arizona Virtual Academy, highlights the importance of hands-on agricultural education in preparing students for careers in the field. With a growing workforce gap, programs that combine STEM, leadership, and real-world experience are essential to sustaining the industry. This Agriculture Month, we must invest in education to inspire and equip the next generation of agricultural leaders.
