Facility maintenance manager, automotive or power plant mechanic or service technician, are just some of the trade jobs students like Riley Rosin from the Minnesota Virtual Academy gain with the help of completing the Operating Engineers Pathway Program.
The Operating Engineers Pathway Program was launched by the Academy in 2020 in partnership with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 49, which has a training center based in Hinckley. The Pathway Program is offered through the Stride Career Prep at the Minnesota Virtual Academy, a full-time online public school of the Houston Public School District that is open to any Minnesota student in kindergarten through grade 12.
